As a CEO how do you get other people to be proactive in a meeting. I have literally had meetings where I tell everyone, I am not going to speak until the end of the meeting and the meeting consists of a little small talk followed by awkward silence. I have tried it several times but if start the meeting then ask a few task related questions people open up and start being active in the meeting.
