we’ve been together since high school. back then i didnt really need much. i’m pretty independent. for a few years i continued to feel that way. now im 24 and i realize i want more of a man, provider, someone who WANTS to take care of me. he is not that person and i dont think he ever will be. i keep waiting to see if things will change but i know im just wasting my time. but we live together and have been together 6 years and i love him and his family and i just cant get myself to leave. i feel so stuck. my mind screams at me everyday that i need to leave but i just cant.
