Doing them is important for overall ability purposes. You can also get gear. The game sends you there a few times but otherwise you can forget it’s a thing. I originally thought you had to wait to be sent there for story purposes. But you’re supposed to go there by yourself. You will need certain abilities unlocked to complete puzzles though. They aren’t all straight forward either

1 the wind power is super OP 2 it’s nice to have high fast travel points bc if your destination is crazy far or over a hill you can just teleport up and dive out the abyss
