@dejashu: Hidden Athens restaurant with no menu and no sign 🇬🇷 There’s a historic 140 year old restaurant hidden in a basement in Athens with no sign, no menu and frequented by locals. You order wine by the litre straight from the barrels and eat whatever chef Mitsos is cooking that day. Bean soup, chickpeas, grilled mackerel and sardines or lamb stew. If fasolada is being served that day (a tangy bean soup!) then enjoy!!! Diporto is a koutouki, a Greek basement taverna. The name translates to “two doors” to symbolise the two entrances and exits that’ll take you downstairs.
