my gsd is 7 but has a hard time on hardwood. Amazon has sticky paw pads that you trim and apply to each lil toe pad. it helps him so much and protects his feet on pavement. very low cost and each set of stickies lasts 3 days, but the packet comes with like 20 sets too!

I wish we had access to these before my childhood dog passed. she was 18 when she passed 15 when I started grooming her. she had been there since I was born she would be 20 today the same age as my older brother. the only thing that allowed her to walk on our hardwood floor was carpet. these would have helped so much

I get what your saying in these replies that even with cut nails some dogs still need that extra bit of traction is fine, but the dog in this video clearly needs a trim some of his nails are so long and I bet how uncomfortable that is to walk, while being old.
