Compression will look fine on a cylinder head issue. I’d do a running compression test. Sounds like it’s got a down lifter. If it’s already had lifters I’d want to double check the cam lobes. I’ve seen lifters be perfectly fine and cam lobes be smoked. Sometimes guys won’t check the cam and it’ll bite em
