Well if Susie is a favorite, Susie will make those teams. 🤣

4th year mini season just ended - and my 7 year old is doing standing tucks and running hand tucks. I LOVVVVEEEE that she gets to continue to be in an age appropriate level with teammates who are emotionally on her level. We have 10 or more years if she stays with this... all the time in the world! We just fill her cup with classes and coed stunting privates!!

Sooo much This!!! Just cause they can throw level 2 or 3 tumbling doesn’t mean they have level 2 or 3 stunting!!! And also their maturity plays apart in it too!! They’ll move up accordingly!! Example- My oldest did 2 years tiny novice, 1 year mini 1.1 prep and is currently on a youth 1.1 prep. Sure on tumbling alone she could move up BUT her stunting and maturity is not ready for elite or higher levels and I as her mom and as someone who’s helped coach/train her KNOWS that!! Yes we all think our little is the exception and that they’re soo incredibly talented but at some point we need to come down to reality and understand that there is a lot more that goes into it than just us thinking that because they’ve been doing it for X amount of years they should be on an specific level or team!! Let them enjoy their journey because most only get 14-16years at most before they hang up the bow, uniform and shoes.. don’t rob them of their love for the sport by placing your own unrealistic expectations and disappointments on them!!!

🤣 but Susie is different… 🙃. JK. My girl went from a tiny 1 and mini 2 straight to the same teams for a 2nd season… and that’s 100% normal. It’s a journey not a race.

But why would you want your kid to take such a jump. 1. They’re gonna be way younger than everyone else. 2. Obviously not going to have the same skill set. Let them stay littleeeee I love the mini age. My daughter is hoping to make the jump from mini prep to mini elite

It really depends on the kids…My daughter went from a mini prep flyer to a junior level 2 flyer and now she is on junior level 3

I don’t know lol my daughter went from a tiny last season to a mini+ youth this season. Talk about unexpected lol but no I agree it’s totally unlikely to jump around like that. Moms as long as your kid is trying their best and going out there loving it that’s all that matters 💕
