Just remember that 1)damage marked on a creature will stay through each combat, and 2)its only infinite if your opponents can't block.

Baylen also works for this. Tap ALL of your creature tokens for mana and float the rest, spend it into this and untap all of your creatures. Rinse/repeat for near infinite mana and/or card draws/buff Baylen up with counters.
