If you’ve learned them really well, keep it up! I think knowing the monitoring and how it translates is probably as important as mixing on X, Y, or Z gear.

you can mix on decent pair of headphones, a whole generation of bedroom producers have been doing it aince the inception of souncloud. dont believe that you need barefoots in a treated studio, it helps but in the end, it comes down to skill and how well you know your environment.

I’ve got the Slate VSX and their new immersion Ones, but I still check everything on the DT770’s. There’s no substitute for time and experience with any gear.

Absolutely can! I used to run a production studio and had a treated space and monitors I loved but when I closed it I switched to headphones almost exclusively and really like my mixes. Oddly really like how the DT770s translate
