@carboneticsau: Are MK7s still underrated? We've been supplying MK7 Rs and GTIs for over a decade now, yet we think there is so much untapped potential in them from a tuning POV. Out the box they are great street cars, and with a tune they turn into supercar killers. But... if you take it out on circuit like Josh has begun to, you put them in a very comfortable habitat. The UK use them for time attack like the modern Civic, and the 'Ring is full of them.
