@user7774290918321: My heart was pounding out of my chest when we found him. He was so scared and tangled up, and every roar just echoed through the silent woods. We knew we couldn't just leave him there. Getting close was one of the most intense things I've ever done. You can see the fear and power in his eyes. He didn't understand we were trying to help, and I can't blame him for being terrified. Holding my breath, we managed to get the setters on the trap. That final 'click' as it released was the biggest relief. Seeing the heavy metal fall away from him was an incredible moment. The craziest part was what happened next. He just stood there for a second, looking right at us. It felt like a moment of understanding, a silent thank you before he remembered he was wild and free. Watching him run back into the forest where he belongs is a memory I'll never forget.
