Not just the amount of misinformation, but the amount of hate!!! Trump has fueled SO much hate towards immigrants and people have such a boldness now to yell that hatred without any shame or remorse! It makes me so angry! I've heard ppl say that my children should not qualify for US citizenship cuz their dad is Mexican. They were all 3 born in Oklahoma and I'm a US citizen, it's unreal! I'm sorry that you and all of us mixed status families have to deal with so much hate against our families, but you've handled this with such grace and beauty my friend 😊 Your kiddos are absolutely adorable BTW! They look like little brown copies of you! I love it! 😍

My kids had duel citizenship. Born in the US and dad was Venezuelan. We continued to live in the US (he had a green card) and when my children were 28 years of age they chose US citizenship.

I think people will always have their own opinion on everything thats why its so important to do research before commenting My son has a CBRA as well and most didn’t know that existed but im glad i have the privilege to be able to have access to those services but yes i agree with you 💕

Not only that, but there are countless children of service members that are born overseas because their parents are in the military and they’re born all over the world & theyre citizens as well

It’s not the lack of knowledge that bugs me like if they ask the question, that’s acceptable. it’s acting like they know about a topic or just being rude and mean about it. Especially when it’s a child. . Or make comments that have nothing to do with the video. I made a video a while ago directed to the young families making them aware of the requirements for CRBA, because their children will need to meet the requirements one day for their grandchildren to be US citizens. Hopefully that reads right. It happened to two friends in the recent years so it felt timely.

It will be better for her!!! I wish my kids were. When our kids are born here they pay US taxes even if they live in another country. So basically paying taxes in two countries. We are the only ones that do this!!! Greed!!! But now she can buy property in Mexico. You did right by her!!!
