I like to take either a handheld led mirror or just my phone from a low angle to see where my lip ends. I think the light helps to see where the shadows are, especially because my lip line isn't very defined

Thank you Nico for sharing the tips! Funny how I always thought I was experimental with makeup, but I was still out here acting like there was one correct way to line my lips like I had to tuck it perfectly into the corners of my mouth like you did. No wonder it always looked off on me.

i usually tend to feather out the sides, specially for my bottom lip since i don’t have the clearest lip line !! for the top lip i kinda do the same as you, but i flick a little bit upward at the corners, so i look like im smiling (?) idk, it depends on the day and it’s cute
