There's a really good fanfic on ao3 that mostly centres Douxie and Jim, with Jim and Barbara adopting Douxie (and Archie) into the family in the new timeline, its currently got 200 chapters (fic started in 2021) and is still ongoing, it's Your Future Hasn't Been Written Yet by Sakon76, I 100% recommend it if you like canon compliant yet creative fix-it fanfics
