@pd.family.5: What stage of Parkinson’s am I in? Honestly… all of them. Some hours I feel early-stage. Some moments feel anything but. Parkinson’s isn’t linear—it fluctuates with dopamine, meds, stress, sleep… life. So if you’ve ever felt like you’re “progressing” and then suddenly not… you’re not alone. That’s the reality of this disease. 💬 Do you feel this too? #Parkinsons #PDFamily #ChronicIllness #MovementDisorder #ParkinsonsAwareness
just saw this after finishing one chapter about Parkinson's disease for my bachelor's thesis 😳

my granddad has had parkinsons for almost 40 years now. he's gone through all the stages and now he doesn’t even get any shakes. tbh I think the only reason he's still here is stubbornness. i remember as a kid he had a mobility scooter to go anywhere now he only has a walker. somehow he got slightly better.

My sister is 43 and was just diagnosed. She said her body is really sore and stiff. Is that a symptom? This is all new to us

This is such an honest and important reminder, Parkinson’s isn’t a straight line, and experiences can shift day to day in ways that are hard to explain. Thank you for sharing this perspective.

Thank you sharing. 🙏 I see my dear husband fluctuating daily and it gets him down. He will think “oh I’m getting better” and then he’s back down. Prayers for everyone that lives with this. 🙏💕
