That’s exactly why I want to get back into reading and writing essays, short stories, etc so I can understand my own voice and have my own opinions. I guess my biggest worry is overthinking my writing voice and hoping it doesn’t sound too forced

this is my biggest issue bc I fluctuate between poetic and casual / humorous, I change sentence structure based on scene & emotion, the pace regularly changes depending on the scene and I shove a bunch of metaphors in there that have a deep meaning and mix them up with some bullshit funny description to throw people off 😭

He emphasized that ADUN is widely recognized for quality research and encouraged students to focus on producing impactful research work capable of addressing societal challenges and contributing meaningfully to the body of knowledge and national development. ‎ ‎Earlier, the Dean of the Postgraduate School, Prof. Hassan Ebhozele Oaikhenan, delivered his welcome address, urging postgraduate students to actively participate in academic discussions, ask relevant questions, and engage meaningfully with facilitators and colleagues throughout their studies. ‎ ‎Prof. Peter Ajulu, the Immediate Past Dean of Postgraduate Studies, commenced the workshop with an overview of its objectives, outlining the importance of the programme in preparing students for successful postgraduate academic journeys. ‎ ‎Delivering the first paper presentation on “Overview of Postgraduate Studies and Institutional Expectations,” Prof. Vincent Balogun discussed the roles and responsibilities of postgraduate students, publication expectations, graduation requirements, and common challenges encountered during postgraduate studies, as well as practical solutions for overcoming them. ‎ ‎The second facilitator, Prof. Hilary Owaomah, delivered an extensive lecture on Research Methodology, Ethics, and Academic Integrity.
