To clearify: My comments are not rude, if they were, I am sorry, that was not my Intention. Its just - for me - so hard to believe that in 2026 still the ferber method is used as there is so so much data of how bad it is for the babies. They learn, very early on, that there needs are not important and „learn“ to sleep because they start realising that nobody will come if they cry. (For example someone in the comments said she led her baby cry for 35 minutes, you know how long this is?? Even 15min… babies have no feeling for time, for them it is an eterny.

Can 6.5 month old babies sleep with a blanket safely? I’m asking bc i always thought it wasn’t recommended until at least a year old bc of SIDS..

We sleep trained our 3 kids using the Ferber method and I whole heartedly believe that’s why they are such good sleepers now at 8, 5, and 3. They stay in their beds, they sleep through the night, and everyone is well rested. Best parenting decision we made! Great job, mama!❤️

My kids are 22, 21, and 15. We used the Ferber method. It was life changing with my Irish twins.

It’s hard but so so worth it. I did this method with my now 4 year old and he is still a great sleeper to this day! Don’t give up! You got this mama!

good for you!!! and yes consistency is everything with pretty much all things as you raise him!!! sleeping, eating, etc. routines are a great tool!!! im a seasoned mom of five!!

You will be shocked, it gets sooo much better every night. It only took 2 nights for mine. I never even stretched to 15 min- maybe 5 max each time- but it saved everyone’s sanity!
