@disabilitiesmanaged: This was an emotional rollercoaster and I cried while writing these slides, but it’s the reality of being disabled. Just because you see a disabled person doing something they enjoy like going out for the day with family, seeing friends, going to an event or concert or going on a trip away somewhere as a treat, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t disabled and that they’re not struggling. My entire life I’ve begged and pleaded to be different, to not be disabled and to not be who I am and the way I am, and i still do to this day - I wish I knew different and I wish I could change it, but every day is a struggle and every night I go to bed terrified of how I’m going to be the next day || #assistancedog #dogcommunity #disabilitytiktok #disabilityawareness #fyp
