@shionaster_: How I draw roses fast 🌹✨ Lately I’ve been drawing a LOT of roses for my vocaloid x flowers photocard series, and I finally cracked the code I think Steps: 1. Start with a circle of shadow, the size of the flower 2. Use the brightest color to block in outer petals 3. Blend the inner edges 4. Clean up any shadow outside the outer edges 5. Repeat the process and build layers from the outside towards the center 6. Clean up, stylized, and render to your heart’s content Some extra tips 🌹 Block in shapes very loosely they will look more natural. I like using the lasso tool for this 🌹 For flowers at an angle, the closer side will have bigger gaps between petals showing. Make your shapes towards the closer angle further apart so that more shadow shows. 🌹 When petals get tight toward the center, stop blending, keep those lines sharp. 🌹Don’t overthink it, and use reference images as a loose guide for shapes Hope this helps! #arttutorial #arttutorials #animeart #vocaloidfanart #flowerart
