I love Nahida, but it was not worth giving up Rukkhadevata in exchange. And Nahida’s concepts were so much better. Not to mention Nahida is made from Irminsul so her color palette doesn’t match her lore.

tbh i think a child as a god of wisdom can be a pretty good idea. kids are usually not „corrupted” with any social norms, external opinions or complex science. so they have ‚the purest’ type of wisom thats based on primal sense of justice and curiosity

Something I noticed about Natlan and Sumeru is the very simple designs of the archons. For example, compare Citlali and Mavuika. Although I don't like Citlali, I can say that she has one of the best designs in the game and in her nation, unlike Mavuika Similarly, Nahida, compared to Nilou for example, has a very simple design.

I literally agree with this so much, I mean yea she's cute and all but she genuinely has such a boring design especially for an archon (hey atleast it's still better than Flopvuika). If you saw some of the concept arts she had, wished we could've had those 🥺

I'll look at a genshin design and be like 'well, its not so bad. I don't hate it' and then I see the concept art and WEEP because they ALWAYS chose the worst one 😭

i really love the fact that shes a child actually. the concept around her having the dendro gnosis and being the god of wisdom all while having a child form fits really well. besides the whole thing of her still growing, she possesses a certain child-like innocence that in its own way holds a lot of wisdom. and her being a toddler while also wielding dendro promotes the tie between children and nature. and it ties really well with sumeru as well, as shes completely untouched by society and is also a child, she possesses unique wisdom and a strong connection to nature that is not so seen in sumeru city what with the akademiya's advances. but i do agree that her design isnt the best, it shouldve been done better.

I think Nahida’s child model is mainly because hoyo wants Archons to have varied character models, kind of like how they all use different weapons. And if that’s their goal, she’s the only one that i can think of that actually makes sense to be a child. I mean, you wouldn’t really want something like an Archon of War, Eternity, Justice, etc. to have a child model anyway.
