we have literally only announced to immediate family and like 2 friends a piece. sometimes when others ask i’ll throw her name as one of the “oh we’ve been thinking of this one this one and this one” and it is always the one people are cracking jokes over.

Here in Iceland. This is the norm. Most people don't say the name till the christening or naming party. Which ever ppl choise. If anyone questions you choise. Tell them you are tying the Icelandic way 😂
