Your setup should be made of a server that has failed and you replaced it and fixed it later, 6 sets of Philips screws, notes with drawings on them, a half-dissected HP laptop behind your monitor that you said you would fix but the client got a new one anyway, a box with USB sticks with labels, and a keyboard with breadcrumbs in it.

Facts on the waiting. Yeah, your desk is way too clean. It’s a struggle for me to keep mine clean. As soon as I get it clean, here comes another laptop or some desktop I have to take apart, troubleshoot, or reimage, then the tickets and emails. In fact, I cleaned my desk today, and it will get crazy again
