@glp1withemma: 8 GLP-1 morning tips that improved my progress ⚠️ I used to waste my mornings running on empty and wondering why I felt terrible by noon. These eight changes fixed that completely. 1️⃣ I eat something small within thirty minutes of waking up Even when nothing sounds good, I get something down before I do anything else. ✅ Your body has been fasting all night, and skipping breakfast extends that fast way too long ✅ Even a few bites of yogurt or a handful of nuts is enough to get your metabolism going ✅ The mornings I ate early, my energy lasted until lunch. The mornings I skipped, I crashed by 10am 2️⃣ I switched to a protein coffee every morning I was drinking regular coffee on an empty stomach and feeling nauseous by 9am. ✅ A scoop of protein powder blended into your coffee gives you 25 to 30 grams before you even start your day ✅ It coats your stomach so the caffeine doesn't hit like acid on an empty system ✅ Same coffee ritual I already loved, just with protein built in. Easiest swap I've ever made 3️⃣ I stopped checking the scale first thing every day That number was setting my mood before I even brushed my teeth. ✅ Water retention, sodium, and hormones swing the scale three to five pounds overnight ✅ A bad number on Monday had me spiraling all week over something that meant absolutely nothing ✅ I weigh in once a week now, same day and same time, and I actually trust what I see 4️⃣ I take my vitamins and fiber supplement with breakfast I used to forget these every single day until I attached them to a meal I was already eating. ✅ A multivitamin covers the gaps from eating less, and a fiber supplement keeps digestion moving ✅ Taking them with food helps absorption and prevents the stomach irritation you get on an empty stomach ✅ I set them next to my plate the night before, and now I never miss a day 5️⃣ I get sunlight within the first twenty minutes of being awake Sounds like wellness fluff, but it changed my energy and my sleep more than I expected. ✅ Morning light resets your circadian rhythm, which improves sleep quality the following night ✅ Better sleep means lower cortisol, and lower cortisol means your body stops holding onto weight ✅ I log my sleep and energy daily in the DreamMe app, and the improvement lined up exactly with when I started this habit 6️⃣ I prep my protein for the day before I leave the house If I walk out the door without a plan, I end up eating nothing until 3pm. ✅ I pack a shake, a cheese stick, or a protein bar so I'm never stuck with zero options ✅ Five minutes of morning prep saves me from falling thirty grams short by dinner ✅ The days I leave the house prepared are always the days I hit my protein goal 7️⃣ I do a ten minute walk before I sit down at my desk Not a workout, not a run. Just a slow loop around my block to wake my body up. ✅ Morning movement kickstarts digestion and gets your blood flowing before you go sedentary all day ✅ It clears the brain fog better than a second cup of coffee ever did ✅ I track my daily steps in my DreamMe app, and the days I walk in the morning I always hit my goal by evening 8️⃣ I stopped rushing through the first hour and gave myself a routine I used to roll out of bed and sprint into my day running on nothing but stress and caffeine. ✅ A calm morning with food, water, and movement sets the tone for every decision you make after it ✅ When your first hour is chaotic, your food choices and energy suffer for the rest of the day ✅ The mornings I follow this routine are always my best days, and the mornings I skip it I can feel the difference by noon what's the one morning habit that made the biggest difference for you? drop it below, because someone scrolling right now needs a better way to start their day!!

My mornings on the days I work are all screwed up because I work nightshift. I get 6 hours of sleep on the days I work. On my off days I get a regular nights rest catching up on the sleep I missed. I've been taking melatonin for years to help me too. I get more restful sleep with the melatonin. But I'm going to try some of your tips.
