@cockpitking: THERE’S A SPEED WHERE PILOTS CAN’T STOP ANYMORE Everything feels normal on takeoff. Acceleration building. Runway rushing past. But there’s a moment… a single number… where everything changes. Before it, they can stop. After it… they can’t. Even if something goes wrong. Because once you pass that point… the only option left is to keep going. #fact #aviation #takeoff #pilotlife #flightsafety
“Above V1 they must go”. Wrong. We are trained to reject the takeoff above V1, in case of a small set of situations. It mainly sums up to “aircraft unable to fly”. Dual engine failure, flight controls failure, and a few more.

Oh think I got it,...
In aviation. V-speeds:
V1=decision speed or takeoff.

Wrong... ...... after V2 you must continue take off ...... BEFORE V2 you can still decide to abort ....... not V1 ....... at V1 you still have enough runway to stop....... at V2 your speed is too much for the remaining length of runway so you MUST continue with the problem or crash at the end of runway
