But when Obi Wan said “I loved you”. A lot of people don’t realize how powerful that statement is. The Jedi are ment to release all forms of emotion, especially love, because like Yoda said “love, leads to anger, and anger to hate.” Obi Wan was trained to never love (except this one time in the clone wars but that’s going to be whole different talk). So when he told Anakin he loved him, that was already going against the Jedi code.
