I was so sad when I heard of your passing but as I looked back on all these memories we’ve shared, my heart was happy and full of gratitude knowing I got to be part of your beautiful worlds within Giorgio Armani, Armani Privé Couture, Emporio Armani, Armani Collezioni, and @Armani beauty. You weren’t an overly talkative man but when you did speak, every single person in the room listened; and what you said was always profound, kind, and with that hint of magic that only you knew how to create. You taught me (and I think so many others) what the epitome of your sophisticated Armani woman looks like: a lady full of grace with a quiet, yet luxurious air to her. You always wanted us to walk your shows in a slow and elegant fashion, enjoying the moment and allowing your clothes to speak through our feminine poise on the runway. You loved women in such a beautiful way that it echoed into every one of your designs. I will miss you dearly, but know that your legacy lives on within the elegance of the brands you’ve created and all the hearts that you’ve touched.
