@jennaxhealth: It can be incredibly confusing and isolating to feel like you have all these problems that constantly affect your life with no explanations or answers. Even when I found out about MCAS and how it explained so many of my seemingly random health issues I’d had my entire life, I was still left confused about what it was, why it explained my symptoms, and what I could do about it. Now, 5 years later, there is a lot more information and awareness which helps. But complex chronic conditions are still incredibly complicated to navigate, especially in a healthcare system where care is so fragmented. One of the best things you can do for yourself is to deeply understand what is happening in your body and seek to find the answers you need.
