@nickbestgames: Bojack Horseman is an amazing character, but he isnt someone to strive to be. He represents the flaws and guilts of being human and so strikes as relatable: the desire to change and the desire to be happy. But as Diane says in the show, we are a combination of our actions and those actions are what make us, well us. As much as it may pain you to accept the bad actions as yours, they dont inherently make you a bad person, and so the best path is to accept responsibility. This doesnt immediately free you from the shackle of burden and give you a free pass at forgiveness, but its a step forward. Perhaps a step forward into an ever so slightly better day.
