I applied for a job I think I would have been perfect for and really wanted and I got to the second step of the process which was an assessment and I backed out and didn't complete it because it wanted me to sign down in front of my laptop with my mic and camera on to record during the assessment to "ensure you aren't using AI". I understand the whole idea of needing the assessment to be full screen and if you minimize/exit full screen it's flagged or something but you're not recording me in my house while I do your assessment.

Or they use AI to review your resume, but it makes mistakes and you have to go in and correct the information. Just let me manually input the information or just read my resume yourself instead of relying on AI to do it

Not to mention the emails at off hours. I’ve been rejected from a job for “taking too long” to respond to an interview scheduling link. It was send at 12am. I woke up and read the email at 9am.
