Because happiness rarely lives in yesterday or tomorrow. It lives quietly in the present moment. But we carry old wounds into new days. We replay mistakes, regrets, things we wish never happened. And at the same time, we fear what hasn’t even arrived yet. So we suffer twice. Once for the past, and once for the future. And somewhere in between, we forget to live. But when you slowly release what already happened, and loosen your grip on what might happen, something gentle appears. Peace. Not because life became perfect, but because you finally allowed yourself to be here. 📕 By the way, I did write a poetry book called After Dawn. It's a collection of poems about healing slowly, finding yourself again, becoming who you're meant to be, and learning that even after the darkest nights, growth and peace still come.
