You should try Aldi. The meat is actually not weird like a lot of Walmart meat. And it’s actually affordable

You should see if you have a Kroger near you! They had 80/20 meat for $4.99/lb in 3lb packages! So just under $15/pack. I got 3 (so 9LBS) for $45 and froze 2 packs! Kroger can get really expensive but they have some amazing sales so if you just shop those and get your other stuff elsewhere it’s great! Also they try and source their produce locally if possible. They usually have great produce!

I buy in bulk from Sam’s for meat and cut it and portion it myself. It seems like a lot at time of purchase but if you do the math on buying it pre portioned and prepackaged in smaller sizes every time you need it, it ends up being cheaper to buy in bulk. Do what works for you, but for just me and my fiancé it works for us!
