YES! Spay aborting is cheaper than raising and welping puppies. If you can’t afford to spay or spayabort don’t get a fkn dog. Or rescue one because you get them s/n.

I don’t agree bc not everyone is home 24/7 and has control over wether their dog gets spayed/neutered or not. And not everyone has the funds for spay aborts

I didnt understand until later in life that accidental litters are rediculess. what do you mean accidently? did you not know until the dog birthed the pups? a spay abort can happen at ANY STAGE outside of active labor!

in our case it was to late for the abortion and she was gonna be spay one week late 💀 of course I cancelled the appointment 😭 5 puppies that are born today and of course everything is good and they're healthy:)

Very first thing we do when we get pets. Immediately spay/neuter, its a none negotiable in this family. We are not breeders, so we will not be letting our animals have puppies that we or they cannot handle and didnt ask for.

yes. if it's accidental, abort / spay your animal. if it's planned, make sure you have the MONEY, correct environment, training / experience and so on to have puppies. I 100% agree with you.

I agree prevention is important, but not every accidental litter comes from intentional irresponsibility. When I was 14, my dog got my mom’s dog pregnant while we were away and they were being watched by someone else. She went into heat earlier than expected, and my male was only 7 months old, and I didn’t even know dogs that young could reproduce. I also didn’t have proper access to education at the time and was relying on adults who weren’t informed either. Looking back now, I would’ve handled it completely differently, which is why I agree prevention matters, but education matters just as much. That’s why I focus more on educating now rather than just judging past mistakes
