@chasitymilesanderson: I was able to take a little@Bit of the training wheels off again, my therapist is allowing me to control my @ReWalk Robotics 7 device more and more! It’s about progress over perfection. It’s incredible to see how far technology has come; giving those of us living with paralysis the opportunity to stand and even walk again with the help of devices like this. I found myself saying today that I don’t know if I’m more excited or more relieved. After all the hard work, the therapy, and the fight to access something that truly improves quality of life, finally having it feels deeply earned. Moments like this give me real hope for the future; a future where people with spinal cord injuries can reclaim parts of the life they once knew. Advancements like these don’t get nearly the recognition they deserve, and that needs to change.
