I wash mine in the washer machine on rinse and spin with a couple of bath towels. Then in the cooler with ice over night. Never use pickle crisp. Mine are always crispy!!!

this is the info I needed. I had someone give me a jar of canned Dill pickles and the first and only 1 I ate was so soggy. so I've never tried making them for fear of that
