I wash mine in the washer machine on rinse and spin with a couple of bath towels. Then in the cooler with ice over night. Never use pickle crisp. Mine are always crispy!!!

Do you add ice after it has melted? I know that sounds dumb but every time I’ve done pickles they get soft.

this is the info I needed. I had someone give me a jar of canned Dill pickles and the first and only 1 I ate was so soggy. so I've never tried making them for fear of that

How much calcium chloride and how much pickle crisp? Also can these be used to make fridge pickles or do they have to be canned? When do you put these ingredients in? With the boil?

I open kettle instead of water bath and that helps save the crunch as well!

I’ve been debating on buying a mason jar vacuum sealer for a while now, I want to use it for fridge pickles and dry ingredient storage. What are your thoughts on them? 🤔
