@mementomikkie: In 2009 E! news reported that Hilary Duff was cast as Bonnie Parker in what was to be, "The Story of Bonnie and Clyde", a true to life adaptation of the bank robbing duo. When hearing of Duff's casting as Bonnie, Faye Dunaway (who played Bonnie in 1967) stated, "couldn't they at least have cast a real actress?". Duff dealt the final blow stating her fans probably don't even know who Dunaway is and she might be bitter to if she "looked like that now". Ultimatley Hilary Duff had to drop out of the film altogether! Hopefully the two actresses have since made up!
