That metallic thing on his archon's clothing, I think, marks when Astaroth gave him part of his power (a time when Venti didn't yet have the power of time ➡️clothing without metal parts. When Venti has the power of time ➡️clothing with metal structures) The only thing that could support what I've said is the fact that Astaroth does have metallic structures 😅

the manga was released a year or two before the game tho, so it could likely js be a redesign since there's a few different details from venti's concept(?) in the manga to his current form but I support y'alls ideas, it's fun making hcs
