I got a bad experience with Jamie Campbell Bower this past awesomecon he seems really nice but I bought a selfie and the person working for him was so rude, It was my turn and he was about to introduce himself and everything but the lady was like she's only doing a selfie and he brought me to the side took a selfie and told me to have a nice day…. And I'm like well that was disappointing 🥺I didn't get to talk to him or thank him. But I did a selfie with Steve from blues clues and he was so nice and welcoming and introduced himself and was being silly! 🥰

photo op workers at cons are the WORST, i met Tom Hiddleston and after taking a quick photo i asked if he would sign something i had and the worker there SCREAMED at me, it was my first comic con, i didn't know i was doing anything wrong :/// he still signed my stuff tho and gave me a wink, i love him, i felt so bad about the whole thing tho

I went to mega con years ago and met Gaten Matarazzo. My sister is the one who paid to have a picture with him and meet him. He came up and talked to all of us and gave me hug and I was so shocked I said I didn’t pay and he said “we’re Italian we hug everyone !”

My husband bought passes to meet Pauly Shore. He was so excited because he loved him his whole life. It was awful. Pauly appeared to be high as a kite, and acted super annoyed. When we approached him he was talking to some woman who was sitting on the ground under the table he was at, and he said “Are they supposed to be here? Did they pay?” Then he was like “whatever” and somehow we got a photo of my husband and him. I don’t remember exactly how it happened, but we didn’t even get to speak to him. We were the only ones waiting to meet him, so maybe he was p/o about that. I dunno but it ruined him for us which is really sad considering how much he was loved during our childhood.

I’ve had a bad photo experience too, you’re not alone. Got one for my bf as an anniversary gift with his favorite actor and they literally shoved me off to the side since my bf wanted it to be just him (which I was fine with), the went “one two!” Took the picture and then ushered my bf away. He didn’t even get to talk to the actors at all. We waited in line for 3 hours all for a 2 second interaction and quick photo

the photo op really isn't where you go if you actually want to meet someone and get a picture. the table meet generally gives you time to actually talk to them.
