Whenever i listen to katseye it really feels like they haven’t found their own distinct sound. Some of their concepts fit some members but not them as a whole. I honestly don’t think that this maximalist/electronic/hyperpop sound doesn’t suit their image at all. I personally like the sound of their album beautiful chaos, and it would be cool to see them expand on that sound and refine it. They could also allow that sound to evolve by pulling from different influences. But releasing music just for the sake of subverting expectations wont cut it in the long run for them as it all just sounds gimmicky. They truly are so happy to sound a mess 😍.

Knowing June’s track history and bang so hyuk playing his favorites Katseye is not what he wanted he would ways state in the docu series that Lexie was his fav trainee under the program and how he would rig votes so that it would’ve what he wanted but since Lexie had left the survival show on her own terms he needed a back up so he made Katseye the second option and now look what’s going on pre life already coming out the gate with better music bc Lexie is in that group

They can have fun music while still making the lyrics makes sense. Gnarly was already stretching it and then it grew on and then Internet girl was really pulling it. They were dragging it and by it I mean their look now with this new song this might make a break them.

The management needs to find their concept. They keep making controversial songs to break the internet expectations but people aren’t sticking with it anymore. The amount of competition in the industry with groups currently is enormous. They just need to truly find their demographic in either trying to appeal more towards the western or kpop worlds. The opinions on both sides are so different and it is hard to appeal precisely to both. The girls truly deserve better 😳
