There is a way to unstiff the 4c hair and keep it soft and pillowy all year long. Once we the sun people figure this out, we will wear our 4c out without worrying about protective styles. I’m too busy to make content but when I can I will share the one thing our hair needs.

All it needed was a wash. Added hair mixed with the gel stiffens, no matter what. If you just washed it, it would lay down and be more effortless

It looked good after dipping. If you try the style again, run it under the water when you take a hot shower. Put mousse, then wrap with a durag or scarf.

Oh yeah pookie twist are gonna look stifff for a minute what I found best when I had twists was putting a durag on it to help it lay flat but also the size and parting beforehand helps too so yeah definitely go to someone else next time
