I bought one Western Star in 1997 so I put one million 250.000 miles before touching, so never have a issues except for 1 turbo 2001 and injectors 1999 only one time,so then in 2003 I decided rebuilt the complete engine, and sold out 2005 with 2 millions miles and no problems,, was on good condition when I decided sold out, that truck is in Nicaragua now with the original engine with over 3 million miles on ,still working every day with 15 speed Eaton fuller and just one time has been rebuilt ,,very good engine's if you take care 👍👍👍💪🏿👌🏽
