So he just happened to be on a roof looking at Kirk with a rifle by coincidence at the time of his assignation? Me personally, if I was gonna do such a horrific thing. I would only assume I would be caught so my plan would be to be caught with the a rifle that didn’t fire the actual bullet. It would be an entirely different caliber. Because if the actual rifle was hidden well enough, the authorities wouldn’t be searching for the actual rifle once they had me and the a rifle. Now the trick is to trust somebody well enough that weeks later they retrieve and dispose of it. So once they do the forensics and realize it’s not the correct rifle. It’s long gone before they start a second search for the rifle. Because without a murder weapon, what do you have??
