Here in Canada the dental should be free for everybody. I don’t care if you’re rich I don’t care if you own but if you have an emergency, there’s some people that make good money they can afford it because life is expensive. It should be for free dental.

I think its ridiculous folks making 40,000 per year with private insurance cannot opt in - some private insurance only covers a set amount (ie: 300/yr).

everyone make sure to re apply yearly. accept that most major things like crowns won't be covered, if they are they take months and you basically need to have great oral health to be approved. they don't take our recommendations as the only factor when they determine what they will cover. it's a good start but it's not a great program yet just don't expect "free dentistry"

I applied last year and as of June 2025-I didn’t have access to any other insurance. They denied my application four months later. Luckily I didn’t use it. Will I be eligible this year due to not having insurance coverage with work?

Yes, I heard about the dental plan, but I don’t agree. They require is asking dental plan. It should be free for everybody. We pay taxes. It’s our tax dollars everybody is eligible. Didn’t go by your income. Anybody could visit the dental.
