My dad has complete hearing loss in one year ever since he was a child due to a bad ear infection that his parents didn’t have the money to take him to the doctor for now his hearing aid isn’t working well in the other ear and he wants to get his hearing fixed and asked me to research for him on what’s available with this help him?

When I was three years old then I became deaf with hearing aids. Until 2006 I have cochlear on my left ear. Two years later then right ear. I felt so great. I listen my music!✊😁

my son has bilateral implants and was the youngest person to ever receive one at the time of his first surgery, he was 5/6 and is now 27, he attended college where he maintained a 3.8 GPA and now does heating/air and does very well and will be getting married this Saturday 4-11

I have a single unit on the left side, it never “cleared up” and was all static. Did a revision (new one) at 8 months. Still not working and now 2 leads have shorted out… I just leave it off. 🤷🏼♂️I will need one on the right in a few years thanks to Meniers Disease. I’m going to learn ASL. 😁

My nephew is bilaterally implanted. So all myself I do not have personal experience I get to watch someone who does. We are slowly, but surely learning sign to be able to communicate with him when he does not wear them.
