i mean refurbished m2 air is like 600 to 650 for more power, magsafe charging, haptic touchpad (which every macbook after macbook pro 2019 had), touch id even when buying the cheapest version and a backlit keyboard

I genuinely don’t need high features. Just needed for Microsoft Office programs, emails, and meetings not for hard work. Maybe editing in Canva or Capcut do u think Neo would be a better choice?

few problems with it: 1. overheats and loses preformance 2. there few windowslaptop at same price which beat its preformance and also batterylife 3. it only has 8gb ram, when windowd offers 16gb at the same price

The bottleneck is not the iPhone processor. The M processors have been an iPhone processor with some extension anyway. The problem of the Neon is the slow SSD which is not suitable for a fast swapping. Thats it slows down dramatically after the 8GB RAM is full. Thats not happening with the original M1 MacBook Air.
