⚠️ MY OPINION ⚠️ This is f^cking disgusting wtf has this world come to! I came across the viral Vinted screenshots, and I’m genuinely disturbed. Random toys and plushies were allegedly listed for thousands of dollars, and many of the descriptions people shared didn’t seem to describe the items at all. I completely understand why people were alarmed. French authorities investigated, and Vinted says it found no credible evidence that children were being sold through the platform. I respect that this hasn’t been confirmed. I’m still left asking… how is there “no credible evidence” when so many disturbing screenshots were circulating? I know screenshots alone don’t prove a crime, but they were disturbing enough that I think people have every right to ask questions and want clear answers. I even searched the app and website myself. Everything now looks normal. The prices look normal. The descriptions match the items. The listings people were talking about are gone. Were they removed? Were they fake? Were they edited? Was it some sick troll trying to go viral? I honestly don’t know, and that’s exactly why this whole situation pisses me off. If this was all a hoax, then whoever created it is absolutely f^cking disgusting. Making people panic over something as serious as ch1ld exploitation isn’t funny. It’s twisted, it’s pathetic, and it takes attention away from real victims. If it turns out there was something more to it, then I hope the truth comes out and everyone responsible is held accountable. I’m not telling people what to believe. I’m saying it’s okay to ask questions, stay cautious, and want answers without spreading misinformation. Children deserve protection.
