Saying “he didn’t make money racing dirt bikes” shows you know nothing about motocross. He was a Loretta’s C class champ, which could put you as a top contender in local Open and Pro classes with a decent purse. Dude was legit on a bike.

Race motocross, but never at the professional level he won amateur races stuff like that races in Florida where he grew up.

Vanilla Ice has legit skills on a dirt bike, but he was not a pro while he was in school. He graduated HS in 1985. in August of 85 he raced 2 B classes at Loretta Lynn's and got a 37th 125 B Mod and 13th in 125 B stock. The B class is on step under Pro. He probably turned Pro after Loretta's and most likely did well as a local pro In Texas, but he did not race pro nationally.
