Several people over centuries commisoned parts of it but the Last one was this guy Friedrich V. (1612–1614). He was tight with Elisabeth Stuart the english queen. It Later was destroyed in the succession wars.

I don’t remember who owned it, but I do remember visiting Heildberg Castle as a kid, and they gave us fuzzy slippers to wear. Which we proceeded to use to run and slide all across the place 😂
