Shoutout to the content equipment list I’d also vote for the ring light and tripod but in my own opinion I think one should stretch the budget a bit and get the BOYA MINI. Which would kinda stretch the budget a bit, around R500 for the single channel , that I think thats a great starting point because with the mic you mentioned the only hiccup I have is that after recording one has to export the audio from the video then into adobe podcast and if there’s one thing that might be hard as someone starting out is maintaining a constant audio quality depending how many takes the video is, because with the Takealot mic some have a not so great noise cancellation if not at all, so if there’s a case where the audio track is clipping (red lining) at a certain point, adobe podcast might want to fix that but the result might not be pleasing (Ive been in that situation) so overall with the BOYA MINI it has nice noise cancellation and the audio quality would be way better and plus as a beginner after recording the only part that would be left would be the actual video and nothing to do with the audio. But thats my own opinion @BOYA_official
