I thought the one with blades was a razor comb and used for dematting. Our undercoat rake is like a mini rake. Could be wrong

Highly reccomend this bundle doesn’t cut the coat! And gets sooo much out! The lady in the picture owns the business and is a great groomer herself ❤️❤️

groomer here 🥲 (that specialises in double coats) that brush is cutting your pups coat... it's getting a lot because it's damaging and cutting the coat. The best tool you can invest in is a HV blow dryer to blow the coat out (a cheapie off eBay will do the trick) a long pin slicker, metal comb and rake with pins (not blades)

as a groomer. I love that you are taking care of your dog and their coat but I would personally say to use one like this instead of those as those ones actually have a sharpish blade to it and it’s meant more so for matter or really impacted coats where this one will still get all the hair but won’t cut the the intact undercoat

Groomer here. Get yourself a refuresh rake instead it's the best and doesn't cut your dogs coat I recommend the short/medium coat one 👌

I used that - my collie had beautiful long fur and now he doesn’t have any on the sides. It’s been years and only the top has comeback :(

sadly it also can cut the top coat and damage the coat. I highly recommend just using a metal comb and undercoat Rake without the blades

i have a collie and i find a good metal brush (like the one i was you purchased- i saw your comment!!) can work better at pulling less and actually removing what is dead by using a leave in conditioner spray, most pet stores have some but we get ours from the groomer, i find it helps my boy stay fluffier and fresher for longer!!!
