Why do you specifically go to these areas? What’s your purpose in showing them? These places represent a very small part of Egypt—you can find similar areas in almost any country, even in Gulf countries. There are also clean, developed areas here. Egypt actually has some of the best infrastructure in Africa. If you really wanted to see that side, you could easily find it since you were able to find these places. And even if our country has its flaws, we still love it and are proud of it because we have many things others don’t.

I visited. The church of Simon the Tanner/Mokattam Mountain is there and is a MUST SEE. Yes, the area is difficult to endure, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world.
